ACTION PLAN
Accountability

More open communication with administration: including regular reports of student issues, more regular townhalls, and meeting notes widely available
Creating and enforcing consequences for bigotry (sexism, racism, transphobia, etc.) within the SA
Diversity training to prevent repeat of the recent 2/7 Senate and encourage a safe space for campus wide advocacy
Taking a firm stance against hate and oppression of marginalized groups across campus, including but not limited to LGBTQIA+ students, minority students, FGLI students, etc. in future SA projects and endorsements
Providing more direct management of senate, where clear hate will result in the removal of offending persons from Senate. The SA will not be a platform for hate speech or discrimination.
Inspiring more active participation from students through regular college visits, SA engagement events, and a regular blog series of insights on what the SA is doing and how it operates
New records outreach program: will make it clear what is said in Senate, provide descriptions of legislation and current projects in progress, will make the votes of SA voting members public as a regularly accessable publication
Implementation of a system where students can put in a complaint about an SA member and a third body will analyze this and determine the consequence as a constitution change to hold SA members accountable for upholding the safety of campus advocacy
Restructuring the committee and task force systems to provide regular internal updates and communicate more regularly with the main SA body
Regularly advertising current projects within the SA and outlining clear projects to assist
